Catalyst 2030 announces the largest global survey asking people, ‘What’s your story?’

Translated into 41 languages and counting… Catalyst members are breaking records in our attempts to conduct the largest survey exploring people’s reality since the COVID-19 pandemic.

“How unique are our stories? What can we do if we come together? The People’s Report survey enables people from all walks of life to do their part in holding world leaders accountable to changing the reality of those often left behind.”

The People’s Report is a Catalyst 2030 collaboration with Play Verto and Social Progress Imperative, that aims to use data and insights as a catalyst for discussion, representation and decision-making at the United Nations in 2021. Our Catalyst network and impact partners around the world are circulating our playful survey, and inviting participants to share their story in a fun way, through 11 questions.

Our aims for this pilot year are ambitious – we want our survey to reach 10,000 participants, especially those who rarely have their voice represented to global leaders. It will also provide a further push to reach communities in the ‘last mile’.

Our social media efforts have two goals – to encourage other networks to share with their audiences, enticing participants to take part and have their voices heard, and to bring awareness of the survey to other organisations working towards delivering the SDGs. These may be other social impact partners, collaborators and social entrepreneurs who will want to share the survey with their dedicated audience.

We will issue a People’s Report every year, for the next nine years, thus facilitating a conversation between the people of the world and our leaders.

About Play Vertowww.playverto.com

Established in 2017 as a spin-off from the organisation, ‘Bite the Ballot’ (BtB), Play Verto is a Social Enterprise that weaves play, technology and purpose together using data to encourage a world where everyone is empowered to improve their lives, their local and global communities and of course, the planet.

‍We see technology and data as a catalyst for conversation, advocacy and collective action, using play based experiences to create a space for wider participation and differences of opinion. We are interested in gathering anonymised data and trends to understand what issues people care about most and explore the enabling conditions to collectively advocate for changes.
