The United Nations General Assembly has just adopted a resolution on promoting the social and solidarity economy. It calls on governments to develop and implement national, regional and local strategies in support of the social economy. This high-level session will convene key representatives from governments and international organisations which have already developed policies in support of the social economy to share their learnings and encourage other governments to follow their lead.
