Yidan Prize
Two prizes worth $4,000,000 each
The $4,000,000 Yidan Prize is an inclusive education award that recognises individuals, or teams of up to three members, who have contributed significantly to education research and development.
Each year, the Yidan Prize is awarded in two areas:
- Education Research: The theory of learning — science, psychology, statistics — that can help educators understand different approaches with a methodical lens.
- Education Development: Policy and practice in learning: new methods and ways to make education more widespread —so they can champion techniques that work.
IKI Small Grants
$500,000 – $1,000,000
The German Government’s International Climate Initiative (IKI) offers project funding to encourage active engagement by civil society and to implement effective, locally-adapted approaches to address the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss. In addition, the grants support small implementing organisations to develop their capacity and strengthen their professional networks, through customised measures. The aim is to foster these organisations as agents of change for climate and biodiversity action on the ground.
