Catalyst 2030 is seeking an Operations Coordinator

About the role

One Family Foundation and Catalyst 2030 is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Operations Coordinator to support our Operations Team. As a Junior Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operational tasks of our organisation, ensuring the smooth running of our programmes and providing administrative support to our team. You will be part of a small, dedicated Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Team in planning and implementing our programmes, including logistics, procurement, finance and events.
  • Assist in the management of project budgets, monitoring expenditures and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
  • Manage the organisation’s inventory and assets, including maintaining accurate records and overseeing the procurement of equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, members and visitors, including booking flights and accommodation, obtaining visas and providing logistical support.
  • Support the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings and maintaining files and records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as International Development, Business Administration or Logistics.
  • One to three years relevant work experience in operations, logistics, or administration, preferably in an international NGO or non-profit organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and other languages as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Passion for international development and a commitment to the mission and values of our organisation.

Job location

Home-based remote working from anywhere in the world, albeit with four business hours overlap with Central European time (CET), or the ability to schedule work patterns to incorporate those hours.
